Among his many awards, He is the recipient of both a Billboard Music video Award nomination as Best Director and Best New Artist productions. He has been involved in productions that have garnered 5 Grammy Nominations and a Grammy.
Gary Mason is also credited as one of the pioneers of Reggaeton, and produced the first major international Reggae n Espanol hit in 1989 entitled Meneaito "El Meneaito" with the Karma Master. He also directed the Music Video which has now been seen by over 20 million people on You Tube. He is also the creator of New Wave Latin Dance, produced the Vina Del Mar Festival for 10 years, has been involved in various music productions including: Reverend Run (Run DMC), The Mantra Bros, Santana, Jose Feliciano.
